【Recommended ski slope】YAKEBITAI in Shiga kogen, Nagano
Hi how are you guys? It's getting warm recently, so It's very easy for us to pass the time :) By the way, the other day I went to the ski resort where is called YAKEBITA with my foreign friend. He was really interested and liked it so I'll introduce the ski resort to you!!

What's YAKEBITAI
Location
The Mt.YAKEBITAI is located between Nagano, Nigata and Gunma prefecture. If you make it there, you should take a car or train. I recommend you use car rental after arriving Nagano station by shinkansen. You can sightsee around Shigakogen area. In case of taking only car, It takes about 4 hours 30 minutes from Tokyo.
Slopes
I personally think the snow condition is the best of Nagano area. Because This ski resort is located on hights compared to other ski resort around the area so you can have great experience which see spectacular view and really fluffy snow. Futhermore, It used to be held Nagano olympic there. I mean, It is perfect state!!
Characteristic
This ski resort is linked other slopes which is called ICHINOSE and OKUSHIGA. You can head there if you have a ticket which is available. I imagine since 1 day is not enough to enjoy there, you should stay there at least for 2 days.
When taking break, you should drink local beer!! It tastes like fruit and terrific!!
Information
Although there are lots of hot springs in the area, I'll recommend "YORODUYA". It continue to run more than 200 years and It's Japanese traditional hot spring. You can also stay there. Check following website out!! ↓
And, if you want to stay cheap hostel, you should visit to "ZEN"hostel. It has Japanese old style atmosphere and good English service. It may be available about 3,000yen. It's so cheap and good quality. This hostel is very popular among foreigners.
At last, if you were satisfied at snow resort, how about sightseeing??
Around these hotel, there is great place where can see many wild monkeys :) It's "JIGOKUDANI YAEN-KOEN".and then the monkeys sometimes take hot spring. The sight is so funny and wonderful!!
